Astilleros de Bermeo (Astilleros Bermeo S.L.) is a family-owned shipyard in Bermeo, led by the Mendieta family, fourth-generation shipwrights. The company provides comprehensive construction, repair and maintenance services for wooden vessels and fiberglass (FRP) boats, combining traditional carpentry with more than 15 years of experience in composite construction and repair. It undertakes specialized and R&D-driven projects, from custom patrol craft to innovative passenger vessels, including an R&D patrol boat for the Government of Guinea-Bissau and the construction of a 70-passenger solar boat commissioned by the Hornachuelos Town Council.
